“Objective Enactive”, Petrine Vinje
The first part of Glitsch(ening) Ci(rculari)ty finds place in Maridalsveien 3, ROM for art and architecture. Here, the sculptural installation Objective Enactive, suggests an understanding of the human scotoma, the blind spot in our field of vision, as abiological glitsch, an ever-present protest, in our view of our surroundings. My talk will describe the artwork and how it is linked to my researchproject at the department of Art and Craft, On Interface.
Objective Enactive is developed in the collective artistic research project Urban Ecologies Following my presentation I have invited Synne Bull, Dragan Miletic, Ingrid Halland and Gjertrud Steinsvåg to a conversation on Urban Ecologies, where we will explain the phases in the project, discuss how artistic research can create institutional community and how we are utilizing the exhibition space as a spatial open-ended research platform.
